LASACO Assurance donates N2m to LSSTF

LASACO Assurance Plc has underscored its commitment to remain socially relevant and a good corporate citizen through a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, just as the company donated a sum of N2 million to Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).

The Group Managing Director of LASACO Assurance, Mr Olusola Ladipo-Ajayi, said that the company placed huge premium on its involvement in projects having positive bearing on the people.

Mr Ladipo-Ajayi disclosed that corporate social responsibility was one of the strategic areas the company intended to accomplish its vision of becoming a market leader in insurance and financial services in Nigeria, creating and sustaining an exceptional brand and providing long term value to its teeming stakeholders.

Mr Ladipo-Ajayi revealed that based on the company’s believe in secured environment where business could thrive, LASACO decided to contribute meaningfully to safeguard lives and property.

Ladipo-Ajayi asserted further that the company was in strong partnership with the Lagos State government as the company shared the vision of the state to engender growth and transformation in all key sectors of the economy.

The vision sharing by LASACO Assurance manifested in previous projects to revamp the educational sector in the state by supporting the government in building a set of classroom block and computer room at Majidun in Ikorodu and also the rehabilitation of the staff block of Community Senior High School, Ipakodo.

The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Mr Fola Arthur-Worrey, commended LASACO Assurance for the donation which he described as a laudable step to achieving the objectives of the organisation.
