Divestment: NAICOM ties noose to prevent use of stolen funds

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has vowed to prevent use of stolen funds to recapitalise the bank-owned insurance companies that are seriously shopping for investors in other to meet the deadline date set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on divestment.

National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), in pursuant to the provisions of the Insurance Act 2003, has temporarily put on hold the operations of about 99 insurance broking firms in Nigeria.
