THE DANA plane crash, which is still bleeding our hearts, is compelling me to focus on Primate Theophilus Olabayo of the Evangelical Church of Yaweh once again. Last Monday, I referred to his prophecy concerning the plane crash, a prophecy among several others which he made known to me, but which I held back for the reason I stated in the piece of 11 June, 2012.By the way, let it be stated very urgently that this Nigerian prophet of prophets has just told me again that more devastating plane crashes in the land are coming. “Bad news again!” I can hear the holler from all and sundry. But the good news from the famed prophet and front-line primate is that prayers, sincere prayers, can avert them. Oh Dr. Harold Demuren, if you are still the big boss of Nigeria’s air space, please listen and obey the voice of Prophet Olabayo and enlist the help of genuine prayer-warriors (including Adams Lawal, remember him?) and begin prayers now accordingly. Of course, I know too well that you equally have the gift of prophecy and are an effective prayer-warrior yourself, but no man, however great he is, sees his back. Whatever be the case, Nigerians all should hearken to the voice of God’s servant and pray earnestly to keep at perpetual bay another and another plane disasters on our landscape. The Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah should, in fact, lead her fellow people and colleagues in government in the prayer sessions. And as time goes on, whether or not they are still in government, In and Out shall deliver well in time the precise times and seasons, courtesy of the Primate, of the impending air disasters that the sincere prayers of all of us can avert. And did you know that the timing of the last fatal crash was given as June? (As I said last week, I was ungraciously unfair to the prophet. May it not happen again). So, whether you are a believer or not, give us the benefit of doubt by giving us the benefit of your cooperation. Thus graciously accept this invitation to partake in the hearty prayer sessions.     

Now, some persons who are recently familiar with this column may wish to know why In and Out places capital confidence in Primate Olabayo and his prophecies. As I had tried to explain some long months back, I had followed the primate’s public prophecies way back, being one very much interested in such matters and others bordering on life and its mysteries and physics. Then I never met him, and he never met me – until very recently. And when we met, as our eyes looked into themselves, there was an instantaneous, a very excellently apparent, and a mutually gratified admiration.     Since his public prophecies began to capture the interest of enlightened minds, other Christian and Muslim prophets have appeared on the scene with their different brands of prophecies. But, somehow, Prophet Olabayo’s prophecies and their designs, if you allow me to say so, have captured my highly cultured imagination and studious mind more than any other prophet’s in the land. (Of course, the late parapsychologist Gabriel Okunza’s public prophecies also titillated me, at least on account of their extensive and varied dimension, but the parapsychologist has since completed his mission on this plane).     

Before I dwell more pertinently on Olabayo’s public prophecies which our public officers are being requested and enjoined to obey, allow me the liberty and grace to share with you some aspects of his private prophecies – even though I wish to do so perfunctorily. And from the private we shall move on to the public prophecies in the endeavour to elucidate our thesis, and to preserve his authentic prophetic reputation without his urging.

Not too long ago, a younger sibling of my more–than–my- better-half fell sick. Immediately I set eyes on him something in me gave way. I expressed my fear clearly and exceedingly to his sister. She requested me to send words to the famed one, the prophet of prophets. I did, without in any way going into details. The loud- speaker of my phone was on, and my more-than-better-half heard every detail of Primate Olabayo’s words in reply to my consultation with him. The prophet’s answer/verdict in less than a minute when I finished broaching the subject was that the young man would not make it. We should not waste our time, for the young man’s sins had finally caught up with him, and he was now cut to size. The sister was devastated, but being a prayer-warrior herself, her conclusion was that “There is nothing God cannot do”. “True”, I answered. And she said she would intensify her prayers. I replied her by stating that though a prayer-warrior (of the Catholic persuasion and faith) she is, she is not a prophetess. In any case, the Lord’s prophet whom she requested me to consult had given us the answer to the inquiry. This story needs no further prolongation. After spending so much and doing every-thing medically possible to prolong his life, the young man passed on when we thought he was doing well after all. He has since being buried after necessary rites of passage. Simply put, the Primate’s prophecy was correct after all. If the prophet reads this piece, he will be learning from me for the first time that the young man has since kept his appointment with his destiny, as we were foretold.     

The second private prophecy I am going to cite pertains to a young friend of mine who wanted Primate Olabayo’s prophetic advice concerning who of his two girl-friends would be better as his cherished wife. He knew my own spiritual opinion on the matter. But he wanted a neutral opinion, especially from one, a spiritual leader, who neither knew him nor any of the girls in question. He specifically requested me to get in touch with Primate Olabayo on his behalf. I did in exactly the same manner as in the first cited instance. The verdict? The Prophet disappointed my young friend by telling him that the precious girl after his precious heart was not the cherished wife he had in mind. The unwanted one would make his heart honey-full and bliss-full in marriage. He has since married the unwanted one, after genuine intervention from the Holy of Holies that made the wanted one get out of the life of my young friend. I shall spare you further details.
