AS I was set to do this enterprise, a text arrived from a reader who urged me to suspend it. The reader wanted me to engage on what he called “the rave of the moment,” that is, “ASUU and its strike.” The reader who clearly must be a university don requested for an alternative in the event that I did not heed his  request. The offered alternative was for In and Out to “fuse Nigeria’s assignment with destiny with the ASUU strike.” The esteemed reader obviously does not know how I work, how I engage myself with the preoccupations of In and Out. I write and work under directives most of the time, and especially when the subject is of higher realm and light outside the “lowly way.” When I am to embark on subjects that border on the spiritual, mystical and religious, subjects that truly illuminate and delight, I get directives intensely from the voice from my inner and beyond my inner realm. If a Prophet such as Olowere of Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C.) were to be reading this now, he would say that what I hear intensely is “the voice of God, the Almighty and the powerful” (see page 51 of “Nigerian Tribune” of Monday, 5 December, 2011).

What I wish to say simply is that I am unable to grant the wish of my esteemed reader because it is out of tune with the wonder of the present time – or, better put, it is out of tune with the wonder of adoration that is the destiny of Nigeria to witness in the shortest of shortest time as the voice of voices has so directed In and Out to utter. And if I may add, In and Out dwelt on ASUU and this federal government of deaf decisioners of our lives a couple of months ago in “ASUU strikes again.” The argument tended therein is as relevant and timeless as our political circumstances and culture make allowance for, our political circumstances and culture that disallow good words and ideas from bearing fruit. But these decisioners cannot destroy or pervert the works of destiny that are about to manifest themselves in Nigeria. In fact, they are around the corner. We are heading triumphantly towards the re-making of Nigeria. The decisioners are doing everything to prevent the re-making of Nigeria, they are doing everything to blur the vision of the great prophets such Theophilus Olabayo and enlightened leaders even among their own company, but in the greater dimensions  and realms of time, the mighty work and duty are already in accomplishment, as all things including the decisioners’ pernicious acts, work in unison for the fulfillment of mightier good and destiny foreordained, and are already perfecting themselves. And I repeat: the decisioners cannot destroy or pervert the works of destiny in Nigeria.

Now if you have been a regular reader and follower of In and Out, you definitely are no stranger to the prophecies that we were directed to deliver. So far, many of them have seen the light of day. Of course, I personally held back many of them when Primate Theophilus Olabayo uttered them. I held them back after intimately and intensely consulting with the Mammon of Creativity who would advise that I should keep them at abeyance until a really fitting time for them – a fitting time in accordance with Nigeria’s destiny.

Two of the prophecies by Primate Olabayo which I held back concern Augustus Akhiomu and Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Ikemba of Nnewi – both of whom are now gone as the Prophet and Primate revealed them to me. Of course, when he revealed them he said it was in accordance with the will of Heaven and the shaping of the destiny of Nigeria. I shall not dwell elaborately on these two greats of Nigeria, and how they relate to the present enterprise until when I enter the essential vitality of the subject in subsequent series. For now, let me openly commiserate with the families of the great personages who made their respective marks in the Nigerian project. When the revelation about their respective passing on was made long before it happened, I fervently prayed to God to halt or at least delay it; and I told Primate Olabayo so. One reason for my prayer on their behalf pertains to my seeing them as great champions of the rights of minorities. I know absolutely and correctly so, for instance, the respective roles each of them played to help and save the micro-ethnical Itsekiri group from those who were and are ever determined to swallow them – and their wealth and land – up.  (Again, I shall dwell on this pertinently in subsequent series). When I prayed to God to delay their departure, what Primate Olabayo told me was “Forget. They are gone. Their time is over.”

Thereafter the Primate revealed the impending deaths of some traditional rulers from Delta State (and elsewhere). One of them, Oriakhi II of Oghara, is also gone. The Oriakhi was a noble peace-maker in the “trouble” between Urhobos and Itsekiris (and other ethnical groups). How will Itsekiris and Urhobos in his domain now fare? What now will be their new destiny when a new Oriakhi mounts the throne?

What other revelations dwelling on the destiny of Nigeria did the Primate deliver to me, which I kept back? They are about some play-makers of Nigeria who are still on this side of the great divide. Perhaps I should appropriately call them political play-makers of Nigeria. IBB is one of them. What was the revelation? All I am allowed to utter for now is that all of us should say deep and sincere prayers on his behalf. The other great personage I must name is Lord Jonathan. Apart from all the bad political, economic, cultural, ethnical and social problems currently facing him, a serious medical and health challenge is starring at him – or, to put it mildly, he is, unbeknown to him, starring at a malignant medical and health challenge. We must pray for him. Please join In and Out and Primate Olabayo to pray for him. We mean it. How relevant or pertinent is all this to the subject at hand? I will answer by quoting the immortal words of a mystic of the first order: “All things created by men are mortal and destructible, but the way destined by heaven is immortal and indestructible.” Is Nigeria going to witness a new sovereign necessity? What is the coming change?
