Minister vows to reform petroleum industry

The Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke, has vowed to continue with the comprehensive reform of the petroleum industry in order to bring efficiency and accountability in the entire Nigerian economy.

Oil workers in the country have concluded arrangements to hold a stakeholders’ forum involving all the major players in the country’s oil and gas industry on the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB). 

 

New oil discoveries worry FG, may threaten 2013 budget

The Federal Government has expressed concern that oil and gas prices could fall as more countries announce new oil reserves discoveries, stressing the need to make plans to adapt to the new development.
