The Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) is described as an Act to establish the legal and regulatory framework, institutions and regulatory authorities for the Nigerian petroleum industry. It is disturbing to observe that after over 10 years of commencing steps to make it a law, the bill is yet to see the light of the day.
