The Chairman of the Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON), Mr Lolu Akinwunmi, has identified spurious exposure of uncensored trado-medical advertisements, promising unsubstantiated reliefs for various ailments and diseases, as one of the greatest challenges presently facing the apex regulatory body in the marketing communications industry.
The Oyo State Signage and Advertising Agency (OYSAA) has threatened to impose severe sanctions on members of Outdoor Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria’s (OAAN) and other outdoor advertising companies in the state, who are yet to settle their debts with the state’s signage agency.
