Return of N10m: Reps to visit EFCC

THE Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Health, Honourable Alaba Lad- Ojomo, said he will lead other members of his committee to the meet with the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde, today to clarify the controversial N10 million his committee received from the Ministry of Health.
This is even as he maintained that the money had since been returned to where it came from.
The chairman declared that the visit to the commission was not because the commission summoned him or any member of his committee on account of the said money.
According to the chairman, the purpose for which the former Minister of Health, Professor Adenike Grange, voluntarily resigned her job, following the dust generated, the controversial money was released to his committee to enable members embark on capacity building tour to Ghana.
