bereaved. Ayefele is
not having the best of time at the moment having lost three close relatives within three months.
The gospel crooner was on a musical tour of South Africa when the news got to him of the demise of the wife of his late younger brother, immediately after child birth.
Toyin, the wife of the late Oluwole Ayefele, immediate younger brother of the artiste died with her one-day-old daughter under a very painful and tragic circumstance at the Ibadan Central Hospital, Ososami area of Ibadan.
The death became more worrisome to Ayefele who still could not come to terms as to why the wife and daughter of his deceased bother could died exactly 90 days after.
The multiple award winning artiste had to cancel his tour to honour the dead while he has also cancelled the launching of his album earlier scheduled to hold next month at Premier Hotel.
Ayefele is the trend, source of inspiration and rave of the moment among highlife and gospel music lovers.
His voice is not only touchy and captivating but very entertaining.
Ayefele’s prowess in musical composition ironically came into limelight after releasing his first album; Bitter Experience following a ghastly automobile accident he had in 1997.
But for providence and the support rendered by well meaning Nigerians, Ayefele would have been forgotten, but his misfortune actually brought him fame and changed his life altogether.
And so after Bitter Experience in 1998, Ayefele has been able to release several other hits for Aloy Productions thus, making him one of the very few artistes in the county that has a tradition of keeping their marketers.
