God’s blueprint for your marriage (3)

Dear Reader,
    God established marriage for the purpose of making life good for man.  After He instituted marriage, He confirmed that it was very good. God is good and nothing less than good proceeds from Him. It means that marriage cannot be less than good. Therefore, whatever is less than good in your home is coming to an end now.

      You will only experience good in your family from today! In the light of this, I will be sharing with you this week on the topic,  Marriage is Good! Since marriage was instituted by God, and God is from above, marriage therefore comes from above, and cannot be less than good (James 1:17). Marriage is not only good, it is perfect. God’s Word declares that he who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22 NIV). The same is true for women who find loving and responsible husbands.     

        Scripturally, marriage is good and there is so much good for you in your marriage.  It is the use to which some put it that paints a deceptive picture of evil. Forget about all the negative things you must have heard about marriage, put it aside and believe what God says, because it is the only authentic view.  Many people believe the ideas of men more than the Word of God; and it is spiritual law that what you believe affects what you experience. 

The fact that some people experience problems, defeat and failure in marriages does not mean that everyone else is having the same experience.  There is no experience that is stronger than the Word of God, rather all experiences should be judged in the light of the Word of God. Any experience that is contrary to the Word of God should be thrown away.  God designed the family to be a mini-Heaven, so He blessed the man and his wife. He pronounced them fruitful, He put them into a garden. They didn’t experience shame and He declared them to be very good. From today, your home will be what God designed it to be!

   If you want to enjoy a good marriage, you must do as God says, without circumventing His laid down rules. For man to see marriage as a necessary evil, it is so because man has thought to push God out of it and do it himself.  However, anyone who will go by God’ plan, will experience good result.  The Word of God says:  If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land (Isaiah 1:19).

   Marriage is good, it is precious by God’s design.  But God works in collaboration with His children, to establish His will on the earth. Therefore, you must know and understand that there is profit for you in marriage, and this understanding will enable you to make the most of it.   God instituted marriage.  After He finished His work, He…saw everything that He had made, and, behold it was very good (Genesis 1:31).  God is good and nothing is good and nothing less than good proceeds from Him.  If marriage is evil, God would not have initiated it. Marriage is good!
