Globacom Premier League: NFL out with Resolutions

THE Nigeria Football League (NFL) board came out with the following Resolutions after its board meeting held on Tuesday in Abuja.

1.) All Globacom Premier League Week 37 Matches earlier scheduled for 4th May 2008 would now hold on Wednesday 14th May 2008 while all Week 38 Matches would now hold on the 18th of May 2008.

2.) All National Division 1A and 1B Week 32 Matches would now hold on the 2nd of May 2008. National Division 1A teams NAF FC and COA FC would play at 2pm and 4pm respectively at the Camp Wu Bassey Sports Complex while FC Abuja would play at 4pm at the Area 10 Stadium. In the National Division 1B, Union Bank and UNILAG Sports Complex would host First Bank FC and Eko United FC respectively in the National Division 1B.

3.) The Board ratified the Two Million Naira (N2 million) fine on Prime FC for preventing television coverage.

4.) The Board solicited the cooperation of all Clubs, Players, Match Officials and Security operatives to ensure the season comes to a peaceful and technical conclusion.

5.) The NFL Chairman, Chief Oyuki Jackson Obaseki JP, would lead a 3-man delegation comprising NFL Board Members representing the South West zone (Dr. Felix Owolabi (MON) and Mr. Mike Okpe Idoko) to the wedding ceremony of Chief Bukola Olopade, Ogun State Commissioner for Sports.
