Court decides on Iyabo Obasanjo May 2

ASAn Abuja High Court will on May 2, decide on whether it would try the daughter of former president, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello or not, while the former Minister of Health, Professor Adenike Grange, and others who are already being tried by the court over their involvement in the N300 million fraud in the Health ministry, have opposed a joint trial with the senator.

The court will also on this date, determine whether it would try Iyabo Obasanjo together with Prof. Grange, Gabriel Adiku and nine other top civil servants mentioned in the scandal.

While Grange and others on Tuesday rejected moves by Iyabo to be tried with them, counsel to Iyabo, Mr. Bankole Akomolafe, said the proper thing to do is the combined trial of all the accused persons.
