Ogun Waterside presents N998.9m appropriation bill

The 2008 Appropriation Bill of N998,912,287 of the Ogun Waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State has been presented to the legislative council by the Chairman, Chief Tayo Ajayi.

Chief Ajayi, in his speech, stated that socio-political and economic growth and development of the local government area was important to the administration, adding that they were striving hard to make the local government one of the best in the state.

In the bill, provisions were made for employment opportunities for the youths, payment of NECO fees for all SSS3 students, sinking of boreholes, as well as electrification in the local government area.
