RCCG to embark on community projects

AS part of its social responsibilities to the public, the pastoral team of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Peace House Parish in Lagos, has promised to embark on community development projects that would touch people’s lives.

Among the lined up projects are the establishment of a nursery and primary school, maternity homes,the provision of internet facilities for public use,among others.

This was disclosed by the parish pastor of the church, Pastor Adeniyi Adebayo on Saturday at the dedication service of the church’s new edifice at Isheri, Olofin street in Lagos.

While speaking with the Sunday Tribune, Pastor Adebayo said that most of the facilities would be another channel through which the church would reach the youths within the street.

He said the church intended to spread by establishing more parishes within and outside the community.

Commending the church members on the successful completion of the 600- capacity auditorium, the Parish Pastor informed that the construction will continue with the positioning of the gallery.

Pastor ‘Wole Haastrup, a Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who led the dedication service, encouraged Christians to stop taking the word of God with levity as God is not slack in fulfilling His promises.
