THE Organisation for Woman Rights Against Child Trafficking and Prostitution, an NGO based in Lagos, has warned against the use of under-aged girls as house help, sales girls and sundry uses.
The Founder of the organisation, Mrs. Funmilayo Oriekun, speaking at a seminar tagged “Stop Using Nigerian Girls for Prostitution”, said her organisation had received reports on many such abused girls, including one Bukola Deborah Ariyibi ,who has been staying with her uncle since the death of her parents, saying the uncle had been using her as a prostitute to make ends meet for himself.
