Former Sports Minister, Sambawa, loses mother

The death has occurred of Hajiya Aishatu Inna Sama’ila, the mother of a former Minister of Sports, Dr. Balarabe Sama’ila Sambawa.

Hajiya Inna died on Saturday at the age of 75 years at National Hospital Abuja, after a protracted illness.

Her remains was flown to Birnin Kebbi from Abuja through Birnin Kebbi Airport, Ambursa in the evening of the day, where it was received by the members of the family, relatives and other sympathisers.

A press statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Kebbi State governor, Abdullahi Idris Zuru said Governor Sa’idu Usman Dakingari, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero were among thousands of people that received the remains of late Hajiya Inna at Dr. Sambawa’s G.R.A. residence.
