Don’t toy with God’s mercy - Adeboye warns

By Adeolu Adeyemo - 28.01.2008

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Sunday prophesied that the lives of people would improve, but warned them not to toy with the mercy of God.

Pastor Adeboye, who made the prophecy while preaching at Covenant Sanctuary Mega Parish of the church, Oluyole Industrial Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, charged people to move closer to God and rededicate themselves to Him.

The cleric described life as an admixture of fortune and misfortune, but affirmed that with God, the lives of those who moved closer to Him would be rising always.

He prayed that there would be sudden sunrise and sudden promotions in the lives of those who have chosen God as their saviour.

”What do you want? Is it sun rising or sun setting? I will advise you to go for sun rising so as to be flourished spiritually, materially and physically.

“The living God is now at the door of your heart. Let him in by opening the door of your heart and stop playing with the mercy of God.”

The RCCG leader assured the people that the sun of their enemies would soon set and appealed to them to be steadfast in Christ, saying that the angel of light would soon light their darkness.

“There will be divine intervention in your lives. In the past, your lives might have been controlled by those flying in the air, but I want to assure you that God is the ruler of both the land and the air and He has now taken over your life.

“There will be a new dawn, a new beginning and a new thing in your life. There are miracles and there are miracles, but God will give you an outstanding one. God will do a new thing in your life even if you are sick.”
