Chief coach of the national U- 20 team, the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso says there would be no hiding place for the Senegalese U-20 side when it takes on the Nigerian team in the first leg of the African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifier.

The Nigerian team would be up against its Senegalese counterpart on Saturday at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
Speaking with Tribunesports ahead of the encounter, the former Wikki Tourists of Bauchi handler said the team would not let the nation down.

According to the dark-skinned tactician, the mood in the camp of the team has proved that the team was raring to go for the kill, adding that Nigerians will be delighted with the performance of the team.

“I want to assure Nigerians of our readiness to live up to expectations on Saturday and with what I have seen in the camp, I am cocksure the Senegalese would be humiliated here in Abeokuta.”

He, however, called on soccer fans across the country to come out enmass and cheer the team to victory on Saturday. “We need the fans to back us fully and we won’t disappoint.” Meanwhile, the Ogun State government, which is playing host to the match, has expressed its readiness to ensure the successful stage of the encounter.

According to Rotimi Oduniyi, the image maker of the state’s sports ministry, all arrangements had been concluded for the match which he said would be used to further establish the state’s readiness to play host to any major national or international matches in the future.
