ANPP accuses PDP of destroying Ajimobi's billboards - They’re only crying after defeat - PDP

THE Campagn Organisation of the governorship candidate of the All Nigerian Peoples Party in Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state of damaging the campaign billboards of the governorship candidate erected in all part of the state last year.

The organisation, in a release signed by its secretary, Mr. Rasaq Olubodun, stated that his opponents were responsible for the bastardisation of his billboards in the state.

The organisation alleged that many of the billboards had been defaced or totally damaged.

“We have watched, with utter dismay, the willful damage to the campaign billboards of our gubernatorial candidate, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, located in different parts of Ibadan.”

But, when contacted, the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, Mr. Yayah Adetunji, denied the allegation saying that they are just looking for flimsy excuses after they have been totally defeated.

Adetunji maitained that “the destroyers are not our people. Why do we need to destroy his billboards after the Lord had done it for us? It is a lie. Our people are not destructive.”
