Judgment unfortunate - Musa
Hassan Ibrahim, Kaduna - 27.02.2008
Chairman of the
Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) Alhaji Balarabe Musa and former governor of Kaduna State, said the judgment was unfortunate and mysterious because it did not tally with the evidence given.
He said President Yar’Adua had decided to follow the precedent set by former President Obasanjo.
According to him, “the judgment never came as a surprise as the judiciary has been part and parcel of the negative state of the country. The ruling is a comic show,it is unthinkable for anybody to rule that there were no sufficient evidence to nullify the presidential election seen as the worst in recent times. How would anybody say there was no enough evidence.”
