OBJ in Ekiti to intimidate opposition, saya AC - Protest against OBJ undemocratic - OSF

THE Ekiti State chapter of the Action Congress has yesterday alleged that former President, Olusegun visited the state last Thursday to purposely intimidate the opposition, particularly to harrass and blackmail the State Election Petitions Tribunal.

The allegation was made known by the head of media of the AC governorship candidate campaign, Mr.Yemi Adara-modu in a release, a copy of which was made available to the Sunday Tribune.
"It has now been confirmed that General Obasanjo’s leopard cannot change its spotted skin. In furtherance of his anti-democratic antics and eloquent disdain for the rule of law, he came to Ekiti to intimidate, harass and blackmail Ekiti Elections Petitions Tribunal.

Also, a socio-political group, Ekiti people on the side of History, has declared the visit of former President Olusegun Obasanjo to Ekiti State as irrelevant and belated.

The former president was told that he should remember that he was no longer the president of this nation, and should go back home and sort out the scandal levelled against him by his son.

In a press statement made available to Sunday Tribune on Saturday and signed by Mr. Yinka Oladayo, the group director of the organisation, the former president’s visit was described as a plan to further plunge the state into crisis.

Meanwhile, the South West coordinator of the Obasanjo Solidarity Front (OSF), Alhaji Lekan Yusuff has contended that it was undemocratic to protest against the visit of the former president.
