Indeed, it will be a new season of new things to come and expectation at De Executive Suites, as a visit to the hotel revealed a conscious effort at renovation.
Patrons will be impressed and surprised to see that the Nite Club’s indoor swimming pool has taken a new shape, new fittings, new fixtures and wears new coat of colour, while the rooms have got their doors, toilet facilities and beddings changed for new ones.

and Cultural Festival was a huge success and
came and went with big bang is traceable to almighty God, the organising committee headed by the Deputy Governor and the patriotic disposition of Nigeria’s number one communication service provider, MTN.
To be fair and sincere, MTN contributed immensely to the success of the Fishing Festival by displaying brazenly its total commitment to its avowed Corporate Social Responsibility.(CSR)
Though when Ikechukwu Kalu, Senior Manager MTN, Channel and Regional Marketing Operations, told journalists during a pre-event press conference held at Lagos Sheraton Hotel, that MTN was coming big into the Argungu Fishing Festival, many never expected it in such a magnanimous weight.
The yellow communication outfit did not only donated N10 million to the organiser, but ensured the branding of all the arena, sponsored the Durbar and provides entertainment throughout the three days event doling out gifts items to participants.
The company also ensured that each of the winners of the Fishing competitions went home with a brand new generator.
And to show how deep the love which MTN has for the Argungu Fishing Festival, it led a strong delegate to Birnin-Kebbi which composed not only the management of cadre but two strong members of Board of Directors of MTN foundation, Mr. Dennis Okoro and Alhaji Muhammadu Danlami.
Ikechukwu Kalu, Senior Manager, channel and Regional Marketing Operation and Nasir Mohammed, Regional Marketing Manager, North West led other management staff of MTN in solidarity and effective support for the No.1 tourism event in Birnin-Kebbi.
Speaking on the involvement of MTN in festivals and events of national significance that relates to people and longevity of life, Mr. Dennis Okoro noted “We are in the communication industry. Our job is to ensure effective communication in Nigeria and to also improve interaction and connection. Events like this and festivals are purposeful fora when relations meet, old ties renewed, new connection made, re-union takes place, and revival of common bond that bind people together. It is to connect and communicate. Hence we have taken it upon our self not only to identify with the social and cultural events of our people but to make such forum facilitate connection, communication and re-union.”
The contribution of MTN to the Argungu Fishing Festival was not underrated. According to Senator Argungu, “Out of all the network service providers in Nigeria, you can see that MTN is the only one which has continued to identify with the Festival of my people.
Argungu Fishing Festival is so dear to us and we appreciate who ever or whichever companies that identify with our aspiration as MTN does .”
Also, the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Mohammed Mera was full of praise to the Director and Management of MTN for identifying with the cultural and historical legacy of his people.
