Adepoju assumed duty as the General Manager/Technical Director of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Thursday.
Headmaster, as he is called by his admirers, spoke on his readiness to turn things around for the former continental champions.
In a telephone chat with Tribunesports shortly after his assumption of office, Adepoju said he was so happy and honoured to be called upon to serve, adding that he was aware of the task ahead of him.
“It is indeed a great honour to be called upon to come and serve the club in this capacity and I want to assure my employers as well as lovers of this great club that I will do all my best to make sure things get better for 3SC,” he said.
Adepoju, according to 3SC media officer, Jubril Arowolo, had earlier met the players in the morning where he assured them of a good welfare package and also urged them to put in their best.
He was introduced to the team by the Commissioner for Sports, Honourable Ayoola Makanjuola, after which the former Racing Santander of Spain player met staff of the club at the Jericho Club house where he assured them of transparency and open-door administration.
