Professionals applaud Glo’s 3G Plus

Globacom’s 3G Plus technology launched early last week has been described as a revolution which will transform telecommunication services in Nigeria .

Several guests who witnessed the launch and demonstration of the 3G Plus services at Eko Hotel, Lagos, expressed excitement at what has been described as the “seemingly endless possibilities” offered by the network.

Chief Operating Officer of Virgin Nigeria, Dr. Yemi Oshindero, who was also the special guest of honour at the launch, said “the 3G Plus is a complete revolution. I am proud to identify with Globacom.

I am delighted that it is a Nigerian company that is setting the pace in telecoms in Nigeria.” Head of Corporate Communications, UBA Plc, Celine Loader, who demonstrated the video call service with Osindero, noted that Globacom’s launch of 3G Plus technology demonstrated the capacity of what Nigerians could do.
