Chinese fire service engineers visit Oyo

TIN He Group, the Chinese manufacturer of the ultra-modern fire-fighting trucks, recently bought by Oyo State Government has dispatched two engineers, Mr. Tang Gongpei and Mr. Zhang Dianzhen, to Oyo State for a four-week stay.

According to the company’s representative in Nigeria, Dr. Mufutau Raheem, Executive Chaiman of Rahuet International Limited, the engineers were to carry out comprehensive technical checks and routine maintenance on the fore tenders.

“They will also carry out the second round of intensive training for the entire staff of Oyo State Fire Service Department,” he said. Mr. Gongpei, he said, was giving the state fire service department technical back-up to ensure optional and efficient performance of the trucks at all times.

“Given the outcome of the survey of all fire-fighting facilities in the country, the Oyo State government is having the best equipped fire service department in Nigeria,: Dr. Raheem said.

He explained that the visit of the Chinese engineers was the outcome of the recent visit to China by an Oyo State government delegation.
