One dies, several injured in auto crash

One person died and several others were injured in an accident that involved about five vehicles on Saturday in Apapa area of Lagos State.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that a DAF truck with registration number XA 430 FEE lost control and rammed into a commercial bus parked by the side of the road.

The truck also hit three other commercial vehicles picking up passengers around the junction.

The driver of a commercial bus with registration number XR 635 AAA lost his life in the process while several others were injured

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, while confirming the incident to the Nigerian Tribune, said the body of the driver had been deposited at the Marina mortuary.

Mr. Mba appealedto drivers to be cautious and always ensure that their vehicle were in good condition before putting them on the road.
