By Our Reporter - 24.02.2008

Although he left out Nigeria in his recent African trip which ended on Thursday, US President, George W. Bush, has cited the Nigerian government as a partner with the Americans in resolving regional crisis in the African continent, but praised the leaders of the countries he visited profusely, Empowered Newswire reports said.

Being his second to Africa as president, the US leader said the leaders of Benin, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana and Liberia who have committed themselves to the good of their people, have committed themselves to honest government, and have committed themselves to investing in people.

They are more interested in leaving behind a legacy of education than leaving behind a self-serving government."

According to him; "there's no better way of making that point than coming to the continent, and that's why I'm here. It's been a great trip."
