LAUTECH VC charges new students

FRESH undergraduates of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso have been charged to shun cultism, examination malpractices and other vices that can tarnish the image of the university.

The vice chancellor of the institution, Professor Babatunde Adeleke gave the charge in his address at the 2007/2008 matriculation ceremony for fresh students.

Professor Adeleke, while congratulating the students for their admission into the university, urged them to face their studies with all seriousness.

According to him, the present rating of the university by the National Universities Commission (NCC) has made many candidates to seek admission into the university.

He assured them that the management would make their stay in the university comfortable through the provision of more lecture rooms and research laboratories.
