The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
reconciliation committee for Oyo and Ekiti states has successfully reconciled former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.
The committee said in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Monday that it had also reconciled the Oyo State governor, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala and his predecessor and former boss, Alhaji Rashidi Ladoja.
Chairman of the committee, Alhaji Shuaibu Oyedokun, who spoke at a news conference, said details of the reconciliation pact between Obasanjo and Fayose would be made known when the committee moved to Ekiti.
“My committee is proud and happy to report the initiation of successful reconciliation between Governor Alao-Akala and former Governor Rashidi Ladoja,’’ Oyedokun said.
He said the duo wanted peace to reign in the state, adding that they had both agreed to be brothers.
According to him, all the leaders and other stakeholders had been directed to stop all forms of media attacks forthwith.
