NNPC begins export of crude oil

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has begun crude oil transportation as part of its initiative to boost capacity, increase revenue generation and boost employment opportunities in the country.

This was part of its commitment to become a truly integrated oil and gas company involved in all aspects of the petroleum business.

The first shipment left the shore of the country to Brofjorden, Sweden, last week through NIDAS International Enterprise Limited, a partnership between the NNPC, Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Ltd.
