Cult: Poly Suspends 20 Students

IN its determined effort to eradicate cult activities from its campuses, authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan have suspended 20 students of the institution.
The suspension, contained in a letter reference Adm/reg.con, and dated February 21, 2008, addressed to all the affected students, directed them to vacate the school premises with immediate effect.
The letter, which was signed by the Registrar and Secretary of the Board, Alhaji H. A. Adedokun, alleged that the suspension was due to the involvement of the affected students in cult activities, threatening the existing peace on the campus.
