Rimi, Na’Abba, Wali Advised To Join ANPP

THE All Nigeria Peoples Party, (ANPP), in its renewed bid to continue to hold on to power in Kano state, has invited the former state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi, former Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Ghali Na’Abba and Alhaji Aminu Wali, a former permanent Representative at the United Nations, to join its fold and save themselves from political isolation in the state.

The Principal Organiser of the United Old Politicians Forum, Kano State, Sanusi Musa Dindile, said the need became necessary to pave the way for these respected personalities not to be further rubbished in the political circle

“We are extending warm hands of fellowship to former Kano Governor, Alhaji Rimi, Hon. Na’Abba and Aminu, as doing so will save them the numerous embarrassments they had been going through as a result of factional differences within the PDP,” he said. He informed that ANPP was the most liberal political party which comprises of genuine democrats whose general interest is to harmonise people of Kano to work together toward achieving greater objectives.

The PDP, he declared, had since lost relevance in Kano, stressing that the party could never realise its dream of recapturing the state’s gubernatorial seat. He, therefore, advised them to accept the clarion call by defecting to the ANPP.

Alhaji Dindile added that despite several frantic attempts made by the PDP to deprive Malam Ibrahim Shekarau of his gubernatorial seat, it failed woefully.

He said: “Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s tribunal verdict against the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate, Ahmad Garba Bichi, had further ridiculed the party’s ranks and popularity in the state and people are no longer reckoned with PDP in the state .
