Beijing 2008: Jossy Lad promises improved Falcons

SUPER Falcons head coach, Joseph Ladipo, Jossy Lad, has promised to beef up the team with new but quality players now that they have qualified for the Olympic Games.

The former Shooting Stars coach disclosed to KickOffNigeria.com that he was committed to making Nigerians smile during the Olympic Games.

“I thank the good people of Nigeria that have supported us morally and financially before this match. I also thank the NFA for doing everything humanly possible for us to win the Olympic ticket.

It is only the Almighty God that will reward them. “I thank my girls for making me proud; I am very proud of them too and I can assure soccer-loving Nigerians that these girls will make Nigeria proud in the Olympics.

“Now that we have qualified, I will definitely work on all departments of the game. I am going to bring in at least three players for each position so everybody will fight for a place in the squad.

“Most of the new players will come from the home league while I will also invite some that are doing very well overseas. By the time we finalise our programme and hit Beijing these girls will definitely make Nigeria proud in China,” Ladipo assured.
