Association (NFA), Alhaji sani Lulu Abdulahi, has expressed confidence in the ability of Samson Siasia to qualify the national U-23 team for the 2008 Olympic Games.
Speaking to Tribunesports in Abuja, the soccer boss said the former national team player had all it took to make it double for the country in the soccer event.
"Siasia is a focused coach; he has the pedigree, and knows what he wants and how to get it. He knows how to get the best out of the boys. We want to assure all Nigerians that he would not disappoint. All he needs is their prays and all the support," Lulu said.
He said that the NFA had put everything in motion to ensure that the Dream Team IV triumphed over its South African counterpart next week.
The former FCT Director of Sports called on the private sectors to assist the government in ensuring that the counrty's representatives perform excellently well when they qualify. "There is no way the government alone can do it, we need the support of the private sector to succeed.
We operate a transparent administration and everything invested into the teams would be accounted for."
