30 clubs for Bamidele Boxing tourney

Over 30 boxing clubs across the Lagos State are expected to participate at the debut Barrister Opeyemi Bamidele Amateur Boxing Championship.

The boxing events that is being organised under the direct supervision of state boxing coach, Femi Babafemi and other coaches, is billed to hold from February 21 to March 1 at the indoor sports hall of Oshodi Sport Centre, Lagos.

A member of Local Organising Committee (LOC), Olumuyiwa Olusahina, stated that the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barrister Bamidele’s objectives for bankrolling the championship was to affirm his contribution to youths and sports development in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government area and the state in general.
