Daniel names new SSG

Daniel, on Sunday, approved the appointment of Mr. Adegbemi Onakoya, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
He replaces Otunba Abulsadiq Olumayowa Olukoya, who died in an auto accident last month.
This was contained in a release made available to the Nigerian Tribune by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Wale Adedayo.
The appointment of Mr. Onakoya, according to the release was considered after a careful examination of his resume.
It said, “His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel has approved the appointment of Mr. Adegbemi Onakoya, as the new Secretary to the Ogun State Government. His appointment was considered after a careful examination of his resume confirmed that he towers above others as a quality manager of processes and human resources.”
The new SSG until his new appointment was the Director General Budget, Bureau of Management and Budget. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Onakoya, 51, a Muslim, was born in Iwade quarters, Ijebu-Ife,in Ijebu-East Local Government Area of the state, where the late Olukoya hailed from.
