Bankole, PDP, Lagos Assembly, Others Commiserate With Fire Victims

The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole, has condoled with the Lagos State government and the victims of the pipeline explosion that rocked Ijegun, a Lagos suburb, on Thursday, saying that the incident was not only sad but tragic. Hon. Bankole in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Kayode Akinmade, said the incident had indeed, robbed the state and the nation of their beloved ones and also caused incalculable damage to public and private property.

Also, the People’s Democratic Party and its entire members, have commiserated with Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), the government and the people of Lagos State over the unfortunate pipeline explosion which occurred on Thursday in which over 39 people lost their lives.

The National Chairman of the Party, Prince Vincent Eze Ogbulafor, on behalf of members of the National Working Committee, in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Professor Alkali Rufai, said the incident came at a time when the nation needed the support and services of each and every individual.
