Former Flying
Eagles coach, Musa
Abdullahi is set to receive the biggest boost in his search for high quality medical attention, as the National Sports Commission (NSC) is ready to pick the bill of his treatment in Nigeria or at any hospital abroad.
This was disclosed by NSC Technical Director, Ahmed Yahaya who paid Abdullahi a visit at his hospital bed in Lokoja, Kogi State on behalf of the Director General of the commission, Dr. Amos Adamu.
During the visit, Yahaya stated that government was prepared and determined to ensure that the coach received the best treatment wherever possible and at whatever cost, with the possibility of taking him to Germany or any other country abroad.
As a demonstration of the NSC’s resolve, Yahaya announced the donation of N300,000 on behalf of the Commission just as he directed that the coach be moved from the polyclinic to the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja where he is expected to undergo series of tests before being flown abroad.
Responding, Abdullahi expressed gratitude to Yahaya, Adamu and other officials of NSC for coming to his aid and prayed God will continue to bless and protect them in all their undertakings.
