Okocha committed to Hull City

FORMER Nigeria captain, Jay-Jay Okocha has vowed to stay at Hull and fight for his place after clear-the-air talks with manager, Phil Brown.

According to The Daily Mirror, Okocha is being linked with a return to the English Premiership where a couple of teams is desperate for his experience.

Birmingham City, Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, where the Nigerian veteran made his mark, have been reported to be making approach for Okocha.

Brown was excited by Okocha's attitude and said:''He has been honest with us. Nothing has changed with Jay Jay; he is professional and qualitative. When I heard Premiership teams were on his trail, I know it was true but he is interested in what we are doing here''said Brown.
