Table Tennis Championship champion, Seun Ajetumobi has thrown a challenge to national number one table tennis championship and Commonwealth Games title holder, Segun Toriola to determine who is the real national champion.
Though he agreed that Toriola is the best among the male table-tennis players in the country and on the continent for now, Ajetumobi still set his eyes on the number one spot.
According to him, he has set his mind on becoming the number one in the country and the only way he could achieve this is to defeat Toriola, who he has due respect for.
He said, "my target now is to become the number one in the country and the only way this could be achieved is to record a victory over the reigning champion and I am very optimstic that this will happen very soon. You should not forget that Toriola has the experience than I do and he is one player that I look up to. But when it comes to ambition, I think I am ready to give him a fight for his money and experience."
To achieve this, Ajetunmobi, who will soon turn professional in Portugal, said he was training hard to achieve this, adding that, "without training I cannot achieve my goal, but by and large. It will be a great opportunity to enagage Toriola in royale battle. I am sure this will happen soon."
