Amodu to rotate players’ invitation

Super Eagles coach, Shaibu Amodu has declared that players’ invitation to the Super Eagles will be done on rotational basis for now.

Amodu said those players who are not on his list for now will surely get their chance to prove their stuff with the national team. “We are surely going to extend our invitations to those that have not been invited now. It is surely going to be on a rotational basis.
“Those whose names have not appeared now will still get their chance because the doors to the Eagles camp have not been closed yet.

“For management purposes, it was only fair for us to limit the number to twenty seven for now,” Amodu said. “We are also keeping other players in perspective. It is going to be elimination by substitution,” Amodu told Kick-OffNigeria.com.

The Super Eagles have a friendly match against Austria on May 27 and then four World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches in June. Amodu has just been appointed the Super Eagles head coach after German born Berti Vogts was sacked after the African Cup of Nations in Ghana. His first match in charge will be in the match against Austria.
