Real tackles Inter for Flamini

REAL Madrid is rivaling AC Milan for Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini.

Flamini is off contract in June and a target for Milan president Silvio Berlusconi. However, El Mundo Deportivo says Real is also keen on Flamini - with neither Mahamadou Diarra nor Fernando Gago convincing in a midfield holding role this season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, remains confident Flamini will agree to put pen to paper on a new deal some time this month.
