MTN Special Golf Tour begins Saturday

All is now set for this year's MTN Xtra Special Golfer Tour. The first leg of the tour will kick off this Saturday, at the Ikoyi Club 1938 in Lagos.

This was disclosed at a media parley in Lagos by the chairman Global Golf Limited, Mr. Ayinde Sanni. The MTN Tour which is desinged to be in two parts, would take place in five states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

According to Sanni, the first leg would be the international pairs, while the second part would be the world golfers championship, adding that winners on this tour would have the oppurtunity to represent Nigeria at the world finals of the competitions that make up the tour in Scotland from September 21 to 23 and Orlando, Florida, USA, between November 22 and 29.
