Taiwo had his house in France burgled while he was representing his country last month in the 2010 World Cup/African Nations Cup qualifiers.
Taiwo’s house was broken into and electronics, clothes and other valuables were carted away by unknown persons.
KickOffNigeria.com spoke to the Olympic Marseille left back shortly before he departed for France on Monday night and he confirmed the incident.
“I was told that some people broke into my house and took some things from there. We reported to the police and they went there and took some fingerprints, but so far they have not arrested anyone yet,” Taiwo informed KickOffNigeria.com.
The former Lobi Stars man however said nothing valuable was taken. “All they took were some clothes, electronics and shoes. I don’t keep money in the house and my documents are with me, so we thank God that there was nobody at home when they came.”
