Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha admits the chance to return to the Premier League with Hull would prove too good to turn down.
Okocha’s current 12-month contract expires in the summer and the prospect of a top-flight return clearly entices the former Bolton star.
The Tigers face Watford in the play-off semi-finals, and the former Super Eagles captain admits a Wembley success would leave him with a simple choice to make.
“I think that will make my decision easy,” he said. “It would be nice to finish on a high. I feel very comfortable here and feel at home here.”
In the space of just 12 months, Hull has gone from relegation struggler to promotion hopeful thanks to a togetherness installed in the squad by boss Phil Brown.
“In football nothing is impossible,” Okocha added. “As long as you’ve got a group who want to win something or want to go places then you’ve always got a chance. I think we’ve got that here. We’ve got very determined and hungry players - that’s very rare to find!”
