Late Sonny OkosunsTHE remains of late Evangelist Francis Sonny Okosuns who passed on at the age of 61 years
in Howard University Hospital in Washignton D. C., United States some weeks ago arrives Nigeria today.
The remains of the late Platinum award-winning artiste and "African soldier" arrives today to a condolence/ Candlelight Vigil organized by South-South Peoples Assembly (SSPA), at his church, House of Prayer Ministry, 10 Yaya Abatan Street, Ikeja, Lagos State.
The burial programme released by the Sonny Okosuns National Burial Committee shows that the body of the late African music revolutionaire will be committed to mother earth at his House of Prayer Ministry in Ikeja on July 18.
An open air Sonny Okosuns memorial concert featuring top Nigerian artistes holds July 12 in Lagos while an amalgam of Nigerian comedians and artistes will converge on Excellence Hotel, Ogba for a tribute\ concert as well as a seminar organised by the New African Christian Breed- a christian association founded by the late artiste on the topic; Leadership Role for Nigerian Youths at the House of Prayer Ministry, Ikeja same day.
“An elaborate service of songs, featuring choirs from different denominations comes up at the House of Prayer Ministry on Thursday 17, July while the outing service holds on Sunday 20, July”, a release signed by George Elijah Otumu, the Director, Media and Publicity of Sonny Okosuns National Burial Committee revealed.

2 Face drops new singles for Nite Clubs

award winner, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Face Idibia on Wednesday dropped a new singles entitled Enter The Place under his record label, Hypertech Entertainment.
The album, according to sources is a litmus paper to test the market prior to the release of his forthcoming album which features Robert Kelly, Chaka Demus and Pliers.
The singles has three tracks namely Enter The Place featuring Sound Sultan and Pako, a remix of Fela’s song. Meanwhile, 2Face left Nigeria for Barbados last week to attend the christening ceremony of his new baby delivered by one of his girlfriends.
Although, details of the mother of the baby is not known yet but a close source to the artiste confirmed the story.
D’banj partners Globacom to float Koko mobile phone

Oyebanji a.k.a D’Banj is set to float his own mobile
phone label, called KOKO Mobile. The Mobile phone, according to him is like a normal everyday phone which comes very cheap and easy to use.
Already, the Koko master who is also one of the ambassadors of telecommunication giant, Globacom has concluded arrangements to ship some of the phones into the country.
A deal has been signed between both parties and the phone is to be used by Globacom during their promotion in December.
Meanwhile, D’banj will be launching his new album, entitled The Entertainment on July 25 at the Oceanview Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos.
