Aghahowa happy for Wigan

JULIUS Efosa Aghahowa has stated his sheer delight with last weekend’s dramatic stunning away victory for Wigan Athletic, as the Latics shocked Gabriel Agbonlahor’s Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park.

Although he was not dressed for the encounter, the Super Eagles former talisman declared that he was sure the Latics had now escaped the danger of relegation and feels excited he would be leaving them on a high.

“I believe this result means Wigan are not going to be relegated again, and I am happy about it. I arrived just after they escaped relegation.

“I am about to leave at a point when they are again sure of playing in the Premier League. I feel good, and can finally leave for Turkey after the last match, according to our agreement,” he said.
