Adedibu returns from hospital

Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Lamidi Adedibu, yesterday returned to his Molete, Ibadan, residence after admission for medical attention in a Lagos hospital.

Adedibu, according to one of his aides, Alhaji Yahaya Adetunji, arrived his residence around 10.05a.m into the waiting hands of his followers who had been anxious about the condition of health of their benefactor over the past few days.

The politician had been admitted in Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos, for an ailment related to diabetes and eye defects penultimate Saturday. He was discharged after receiving medical treatment for exactly 11 days in the hospital.

When the Nigerian Tribune got to the Molete residence of the PDP chieftain, many of the his aides and supporters were seen discussing in groups, apparently about the latest development, just as Chief Adedibu was said to be taking his rest.

Efforts by the Nigerian Tribune to speak with the 81-year-old politician was, however, rebuffed by one of his close aides, Alhaji Lukuman Agboluaje.

“What other information do you need again? Baba has come back and that should be enough for you; you can’t see Baba, thank you”, Agboluaje said.
