Housewife dies in Lagos hotel room - After sex with lover

Tragedy struck in Ajegunle in Apapa area of Lagos on Saturday night as a woman who had gone to one of the hotels in the area with her lover reportedly died during sexual intercourse.

The 31-year-old woman identified as Mama Orebe, had on Saturday evening reportedly gone to Money Moon Hotel in Awodi Ora in Ajegunle with his lover identified as Robinson Zikomah.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the lovers had reportedly booked for a room in the hotel and had gone in when the incident occured Robinson, in his statement at the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID) in Panti, Yaba, stated that the deceased suddenly started coughing.

The cough, according to him, continued unabated forcing the loverboy and some of the attendants in the hotel to rush her to a nearby hospital where she was confirmed dead.

The incident, according to the Nigerian Tribune investigation, threw the hotel into confusion as some of the lodgers had to escape being arrested by the police.

The Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr. Frank Mba, while confirming the incident stated that the police had commenced investigation into the matter.

Mba also added that the suspected loverboy had been arrested while the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the public mortuary for autopsy.
