Lawmaker advises on multiple taxation

The task of eliminating multiple taxation needs the cooperation of the three tiers of government in Nigeria to succeed. This assertion was made Thursday by Hon. Isiaka Magaji of the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Hon. Magaji was speaking at the launch of a task force-operational network by the mobile Advert/loading and offloading Agency on Nigeria, MOAN/LOLAN. He urged the agency to take a cue from the recent comments of the Lagos State governor, Mr. Raji Fashola (SAN) that the association be more civil in its mode of collection of taxes.
